Barrett Jackson Palm Beach 2013 Auction

Spent last Saturday at the Barrett Jackson Auction in West Palm Beach.
I have been to this show several times and this years show was a
little down on the quality of cars and up on the crowds.
Still, I had a good time and saw several interesting cars.

Wheels Across The Pond 2013 Annual Car Show

I attended the 7th Annual Wheels Across the Pond Car Show at Carlin Park.  Over 200 cars were  registered, with everything from Mini, Rolls Royce, MG, Austin, Jaguar and, celebrating 100 years, Aston Martin.  A James Bond clone was flown in via helicopter, and then whisked away in the new Aston.  The show was packed with visitors, both human and dog, and a lot of great cars were on display.

My Favorite Car Web Sites

I frequently get asked what are my favorite car sites on the web.
That is an easy answer as I follow a few sites diligently.

My favorite site is Jalopnik, a site famous for its nice price/crack price
cars for sale, plus car reviews, seen on teh street feature, and car news and info
from around the world.

For in depth car news and reviews, I go to Autoblog, the grand daddy
of car websites.  They have the best scoops on new cars

Another good review site with lots of opinions is TTAC.  As a former
contributor, they offer a lot of good new and used car reviews.

The classiest website is Winding Road with gorgeous pictures
and a lot of car info.

Finally, for the real old school readers, there is Horse and Buggy, for
those unwilling or unable to leave the 19th Century behind.
This one is for you.

March Cruise-in in Royal Palm Beach

We had a beautiful day in South Florida and
a large turnout for the March 16
East Coast Mustang Club's Cruise-in in Royal Palm Beach.
Sunny and 68 with at least 50 cars, including a Ferrari,
Three Fieros, tons of Corvettes and Mustangs,
and, of course, a Corvair.
