Johns Hopkins/Christus Consolator

The original 1889 building at Johns Hopkins Hospital, built in the Queen Anne style, stands as beautiful hallmark of late 19th century architecture.
Inside, it hosts a copy of Christus Consolator, an 1838 rendering of Jesus Christ, the original of which is located in Denmark.

Fells Point 50th Anniversary Festival

Spent last Sunday walking through Fells Point in Baltimore during the 50th Anniversary Festival.
Fells Point is a historic 200+ year old neighborhood, with cobblestone streets, pubs, restaurants and shops.  A must visit when in Baltimore.

Fisheye for the Boston Guy

Went up to Boston (not to find my leg) for a short trip, walked down Charles Street, stopped by Cheers  and wandered through the Public Garden (opened in 1837) across the street (very friendly squirrels).  Stayed at the Liberty Hotel, a former jail.

Sometimes you want to go....
