BMWs in the Park (BMWCCA Event)

The Everglades Chapter of BMW Car Club of America held its annual picnic at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm on June 23, 2012.  i was there with my 2008 BMW M3.  Weather was poor but the turnout was good, with 4 e9X M3s present, a 1MCoupe, an E24 M6, two 2002, a 2500 in stellar condition and more.

Rainy Tuesday (June 19, 2012) Cruise-in at the Grand Tavern on Linton in Delray Beach.  Awesome Ford GT-40 in Gulf colors was the highlight.  South Florida Corvair Club had four Corvairs at the show.

Working on using HDR to improve my technique.  I take three bracketed shots +/- 2 ev, and then use Enfuse GUI to combine the three shots to get the best picture.  Sometimes I am pleased with the new results, other times I give up the highlights and stick with the base shot.  I like having the option.

My classic car (ahem) is a 1966 Chevrolet Corvair.  She has traveled only 57k miles, but needed some restoration after sitting outside in the Florida sun for the last 12 years as a daily driver (she was a garage queen with only 9k miles in 1999).  I also like chrome, so here is a cropped shot of the engine bay partly cleaned up:

The East Coast Mustang Club has a cruise-in every saturday at Foster's Grille from 5-9.  It is mostly newer Mustangs  plus a smattering of local antiques.
The Shopping Center offers tons of food (Cuban, American, Greek) and they get a good crowd.
