FISHEYE FOR THE BILTMORE ESTATE GUY

Lured by a BMW Concours Event I trekked from Seven Devils, NC to Knoxville, TN (National Corvair Convention, pics to follow) to Asheville, NC only to be partially thwarted by the anticipated rain deluge
(which arrived at 4, making my journey home a nightmare).
While the cars on display disappointed (in quantity, not quality),
the Biltmore House and Gardens were still beautiful.
The Biltmore is the largest privately owned house and has been a
major tourist attraction for 85 years.
I prefer the grounds and the gardens, with a spectacular variety of colorful plants.
Asheville is a wonderful small town and
I recommend a visit and a day at the Biltmore.
